Good News and Bad....

Happy Birthday Dad and Robin!!!!

My appointments on Wednesday couldn't have gone better! I don't need surgery and in fact they don't believe the valve is as bad as originally thought by the Dr.'s here. They have ordered a stress test for me to do after the first of the year. It will determine how my body is processing and getting rid of CO2. I will also be meeting with a OB/GYN who specializes in women and particularly pregnant women with heart issues. If everything goes well, I will be given the green light to TTC again!

When (I'm being very positive) I get pregnant they will monitor me closely and I will receive an Echo-cardiogram every trimester. Worse case, if I have issues during pregnancy they will do a catherization, send a balloon up and open up the valve. They don't want to do this unless needed because right now the leakage back through the valve is minimal, and they find after the balloon the leaking gets worse. They also don't want to replace the valve at this point because they don't last forever and I would end up having the valve replace every 10 years.

So as of right now we are waiting to get the green light after the first of the year!

Bad News: Grandpa was doing good, and then he took a turn for the worse. On December 7th at 9:05 pm surrounded by his family, grandpa passed. I will go into further detail in another post. Right now I am in shock and dealing.....

Crazy!!!

This week has really showed me just how crazy some people are. Between the crying over the gay marriage right not passing and the Ft. Hood shootings it is scary in this world. I am just in aw with what some people will go to to prove a point and so sod for the families affected. My prayers go out to them.

Wednesday we were able to get a bit of stuff done. Not only the usual grocery shopping but we were able to find Jocelynn's birthday dress at Sears. She picked it out abd I have to say she looks beautiful in it! I will be taking out family pictures this weekend as long as the weather holds out and it doesn't get too cold.

We are still waiting on on our PCP to call us with information on the referral for John's specialist appointment. Looks like John will be calling him again on Monday!

Congratulations to all my CO sisters who have recently received their wonderful BFP!!!!! I am over the moon happy for all you ladies!

R.I.P. Donald (Grandpa) Farris: 11/12/1940 ~ 7/18/2009
You will be forever missed and I Love You!

SOMERSWORTH — Donald Allan Farris, 68, passed away early Saturday morning, July 18, 2009, at the Dover Rehab Center.

Donald was born Nov. 12, 1940, in Norwood, Mass., the son of Stuart and Margaret (Burhoe) Farris.

Mr. Farris graduated from Walpole High School in 1958. After graduating, Donald joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for eight years.

Donald was employed at Robbins and Napa Auto Parts stores, where he was the store manager. He was a member of the Berwick Fire Department, as well as a policeman and firefighter in York, Maine. He was a member of the Berwick American Legion Post 79.

Donald was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, as well as a NASCAR fan, favorite driver Mark Martin.

Mr. Farris was predeceased by his father, Stuart Farris; brothers, David and George Farris, a sister, Linda Farris and grandson, Travis Denbow.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joan (Carpentier) Farris of Somersworth; his mother, Margaret (Burhoe) Farris of North Carolina; son, Allan F. Bradeen of Rochester; daughter, Carrie Chisholm of California; three stepsons, Robert Tibbetts of Berwick, Maine, Allen Tibbetts of New Durham, and Shawn Tibbetts of Berwick, Maine; a stepdaughter, Linda Denbow of Gonic; his brothers, Bill Farris of Connecticut and Ken Farris of Massachusetts; his sisters, Ellen Deorsay of New York and Janet Richards of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Laing-Bibber Funeral Chapel, 36 Rochester St., Berwick, with an American Legion service at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 24, at 11 a.m. at Laing-Bibber Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Weaver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's memory can be made to Cocheco Valley Humane Society, 262 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820 or American Lung Association of Maine, 122 State Street, Augusta, ME 04330.

What a week!!!

This week has been pretty laid back....at least according to the last two weeks.

Wednesday John and I went to see Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen! AMAZING!!!!! If you like a move that is action packed from the very beginning, go see the movie! Actually just go see the movie and thank me later...LOL

Tonight John and I had a much needed date night. It is always nice to reconnect as a couple!

The entertainment world has had a huge blow this week with the death of 3 icons!

Tested........

That is exactly what I feel like....tested! I just want to pull my hair out and climb in bed and stay there for days!

Monday (5/11) Started off like every other Monday, John got up to go to work and I lounged in bed. He had a meeting at the office at 7am. At 7:20 I receive a text from John, He has been laid off from him job......WHAT!?!?!? We don't know how long he will be out of work. His company is waiting on a project that is having permit and material issues. John is to call the office every Friday after noon and find out what the status on the project is.....let's pray this is a short lay off!

TTC News: My P4 level this cycle is 31.8! That is a great number and go for my BETA on Monday 5/18......it is bitter sweet. I still pray that we are pregnant this cycle because if we are not we are putting TTC on hold until John is back at work and we have health insurance again........If we are pregnant we will make do....we will find a way because nothing would make us happier then to know that we will be adding to our family!

I guess the next few days/week will be a real test! Pray for us!

She was truly a blessing from God and faced more in her short 11 months then any of us will face in our entire lives! God Bless you Kayleigh! My heart goes out to the Free mans....

R.I.P.

Too many death this year. First my Aunt Kathy in July, The a close family friend in October. Now John's Grandfather and one of my best friends from High School. I really can't handle much more and I am more then ready for 2009. I hope and pray that 2009 is a better year. I can't handle anything more!

Delaware..

We made it safely from home to MIL in Delaware. The services for Poppop are Friday and we will be heading home late that evening or early Saturday morning. It is nice being here with Family, but I really wish it was for a different reason!

Life.....

Seems when shit hits the fan, it is enough to suffocate you.

Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning, I wake up to the damn bitch showing her face. AF needs to make her appearance this month and then not again for another 9 months.

Then we get a call for John's sister, John's grandfather passed away in his sleep. This is a man whom John is named after (John is the 3rd) and shares a birthday with. It was sudden, but his healthy had been failing for the last few months. We will be heading down to Delaware, for the services on Monday, and will not be back home until Friday.

I have not seen John cry in the 9 years we have been together. The news Thursday morning hit him....hard. I feel for him and his sisters and parents. This is tough, but we must all remember that his is with our Father, God, and he is at peace, with his wife and his family that had passed before him. He was 92 and had lived a full life, in fact he was still living by himself, in the home him and his wife had purchased and raised their children in. He went peacefully in his sleep with no suffering. If we all could be so lucky when our time comes to return home!

A sad day...

So today was a really rough day for me. Today was Aunt Kathy's funeral (10/14/1949 ~ 7/13/2008). Although the service was beautiful and I learned things about my Aunt that I didn't know, i already miss her! I am extremely sad that Jocelynn will not know this lovely woman who loved every one of her family members with her whole heart. I LOVE YOU! I know that she is up in heaven with my grandmother and I now feel like I have 2 guardian Angels!
