March Update!

March started with John's shoulder surgery on the 7th. Everything went great and John was in a sling for a week and on light duty at work for a month. Everything is healing great and John seems to be mostly pain free by this point. He still gets some aches ever once in a while, I mean they shaved some of the bone away in the joint. The Dr.s says he should be fully healed on 18-24 months. Already he is feeling much better and is happy to be able to work and play without too much pain!

While John was recovering for surgery I came down with a awful stomach bug. In fact, my stomach first protested in the recovery room after John's surgery. The poor nurse was taking care of me instead of John....I felt awful. I assumed it was my nerves. I was very nervous and anxious for this surgery....I'm not sure why....and didn't eat anything all day. I though now that I knew John was going to be ok, my body decided to show me how unhappy it was with me. 

That was not the case. It started at 5pm at the hospital and ended about 2am at home. I was running the the bathroom every 20-30 minutes. I couldn't even sip water because it would make me run to the bathroom sooner. I felt like I was literally dying. 

Thank goodness for my Mom. Once again she comes to the rescue. She ended up having to take care of John, myself, and Jocelynn. At one point my vomiting was so bad she was ready to put me in the car and take to the ER. Which for her to get to that point, you know things must be pretty bad. 

My biggest concern was making sure John didn't come down with this awful bug. I couldn't imagine vomiting right after shoulder surgery....but he did. Both Mom and John ended up with the bug. Not as bad as what I had, thank goodness, but still miserable none the less. Mom ended up down and out for a few hours on the 9th and John vomited just a couple times on the morning of the 10th. Lets just say that weekend and most of that week was a "trying to get better" for all of us.

It took all of us a good 4-6 day to "get back to normal". All of us lived on scrambled eggs, toast, and roman noodles for most of the week.

By the 11th I was able to get of the couch for more then just bathroom breaks, and the weather was so warm that day. I decided to open the windows and doors and Lysol as much space as I could. I definitely did not want that bug to hang around.

The end of March I was able to spend a bit of time with my nieces and nephew. I love them so much and they bring so much joy to my heart.

With the nicer weather that March brought, Jocelynn has been spending most of her days (when not in school) outside! She loves to ride her bike and scooter, and jump rope. I also love that she has a few friends who live in the neighborhood and she is able to go from house to house to play or they all come to our house (we have the swing set). I also imagine I will be see most of them a lot during the summer since we are the house with the pool!

Also, with the nicer weather, John has had spring fever. The Fourwheeler seems to be a favorite activity for both John and Jocelynn. I'm glad we have some trails up the road so they can enjoy.

Oh, and a proud sister moment, my brother made the front page of the local newspaper. I don't alway brag about either of my brother (I am super proud of both) but Cory being a firefighter scares me everyday, but I am also so very proud of what he does!

Update on 2014 so far....

Here we are in March.....already. I can't believe time flies so quickly.

January and February were filled with Snow, Snow, and more snow.... It is crazy how much it has snowed here.

I have also spent lots of time with Gage and Keira. Its so nice to have little ones around.

I have spent all of this year so far sick. Started at the end of December, which I finally went to the Dr. in January. I had an outer ear infection, two different medications over two weeks cleared that up...or actually moved it to a middle ear infection with bronchitis. So an antibiotic, otc sinus med, and 2 cough meds later it cleared up for about 4 days right around my birthday.

But I was sick again after a few days, went back to the dr. because I still had a horrible cough, a super sore throat, and was super tired. I would sleep 8-10 hours at night and then take a 2-3 hour nap in the middle of the day. She tested me for strep throat and mono...both tests came back negative, it was a virus. I just couldn't catch a break.

Still today, 2 months after the dx of the first ear infection I still have a cough and sore throat. I am waiting for a call from the ENT Dr. My pcp told me my tonsils are huge, and I am afraid I have tonsillitis and will need my tonsils removed. As scared as I am of the pain I would be in from the removal, I can no longer deal with the pain in my throat at this time. At least with the surgery I know the pain will end, right now I don't know if it will ever.

Jocelynn has been doing fantastic in school. She is "extremely bright and a joy to have in class" her teacher says. She is also an exceptional writer. She is writing at a 3rd grade level and is able to add detail and voice when she writes. She seems to enjoy to write and I pray she continues if it makes her happy. I can't believe we are in the last half of 2nd grade for her. I wish she would slow down!

In February I turned 35.....I know some people make a big deal out of this number, but for me it was just another day.

John and I decided this year to purchase one large gift for each other for all the holidays - birthday, mother/father day, anniversary, etc. ~ So john purchased a four wheeler so he can go trail riding with his buddy. He is like a little kid. I am happy to see him so happy and I hope and pray he will get out often because he needs some time with the guys.

I decided my gift would be a girls weekend with my CO sisters. These ladies have been there for me for over 7 years now. I couldn't imagine making it through this infertility battle without them! I can't wait to meet many of them for the first time in June and I know it is going to be a blast that weekend!

John and I also booked our annual Myrtle Beach trip. September never comes fast enough for this trip! I can't wait to spend time with family and friends again and just relax!

Today John is having surgery on his shoulder. He has arthritis and bone spurs in the joint and a small tear in his rotator cuff. The Dr. is optimistic that they will not need to repair the tear which means John will be in a sling for a week and on light duty at work for a month. Prayers would be greatly appreciated for this!

On the TTC front.....obviously no new baby. John and I have decided to focus on getting healthy. I have started a new exercise challenge/routine with my fantastic CO sisters and I am truly enjoying it!

We have decided that we are content with having only one child. Jocelynn is a miracle and a true blessing. I thank God everyday that she is in my life. Would we like another child, of course, the likely hood of that happening is slim to none. But, God has His plans for my life and I trust those plans are amazing and I am willing to follow this path that He has set out for us.

Long Overdue Update!!!

Wow....over a year since I last updated....Lets see if I can update all in one post....lol

February 2013: John and I purchased a new car! We traded in the GMC Envoy for a 2013 Kia Rio. I was worried about the size difference, but now a year later I can say it really isn't a problem. Plus, we are saving money on the payment and gas!!

I turned 34, which was a huge deal.

March 2013: Jocelynn tried Karate! She seemed to really like the first 2 classes, but then decided that it wasn't fer her. It was an expensive adventure, but if she had wanted to do it then I would have supported her.

The end of March saw the ending of a era....at least for me. I left my job at the shelter. After 9 years I had enough and decided it was time. To this day I miss the people I worked with (not management) and all the animals, but it was the correct decision of my sanity and to save John and I's marriage!

April 2013: I was able to get a new job as a receptionist with a local eye doctor. I really enjoyed it at first, but then I was asked to do things I was morally comfortable doing so I left that job at the end of August.

May 2013: May brought the nice weather and that chance to get outside!

I along with my sister-in-law and a friend were able to see one of my favorite bands in concert ~ NEEDTOBREATHE at the House of Blues in Boston! I can say it was amazing and I can't wait to go see them again!

Memorial day weekend we were able to make our first trip to the beach! What a refreshing day out in the sun near the water. I swear we are all happier when we are in the sun on the beach (even when the water is to cold to do more then dip your feet in for a few minutes!).

June 2013: Happy Anniversary!!!! John and I celebrated 11 years of marriage. Man it went by fast!

We also were able to visit friends while they were camping and had a blast!

We also found out that Jocelynn has a dairy intolerance. She is not completely lactose intolerant, but can only have a limited amount of dairy at a time. We have stared giving her almond milk and she really enjoys it. In fact she will drink the almond milk much easier then I could get her to drink the regular milk, so that is a bonus. I have changed out eating habits to modify for less dairy, or make a substitute for her. Most of the time she can not tell of the substitute, but every once in a while it is awful! It is a learning curve and I will keep moving forward with it! I hate seeing my baby in pain with the awful stomach cramps!

August 2013: Happy Birthday John!!! John turned 36. The love of my life is getting old...lol. I tease him I am going to trade him in for two 18 year olds, but he knows better!

I left the job at the eye doctor for moral reasons!

September 2013: Jocelynn started the 2nd grade......*sigh*

As a result of the issues from the eye doctor job, I was having severe anxiety attacks. I decided to go to the Dr. I was tired of the lack of motivation and wanting to sleep more then be awake. What was my diagnosis? Severe Depression....WHAT!?!?!?  I started a medication routine that consisted at first on 10mg of Citalopram and 3000 iu of Vitamin D3. I did have to up the Citalopram to 20mg once a day, and that seems to be a good dose for me. I go back in June of 2014 for a med check.

At the end of the month we took our (what is becoming annual) family trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. It was a wonderful week at the beach with family and friends! The drive was awful, but with the new car we were able to drive down, around town for the week and home for less than $250. I could get 1 plane ticket for that! So financially it made a lot of sense!

Happy 1st Birthday!

October 2013: John and I ordered a new sleep number bed!!! Our old mattress was 13 years old so it was time for a new one. We priced mattresses for 2-3 months and realized that the sleep number was in the same price range as regular mattresses with a better warranty! So we bought it! It was one of the best decisions we ever made! Both John and I have slept like babies!!!

With my visit to the Doctor in September, she suggested I have a sleep study done. So after fighting the insurance company, the approved an at home sleep study. Not as bad as it sounds and I was able to have a fairly normal nights sleep! What the study showed was abnormal sleep pattern, so an appointment with a neurologist was scheduled for January.

John also had to go to see an Orthopedic because he had some severe shoulder pain. After an MRI, it was determined that he has arthritis and bone spurs in the joint and a small tear on his rotator cuff. He decided to try some anti inflammatory medication to help with the pain. The Dr. told him that most of the pain was most likely from the arthritis and bone spurs not the tear.

Keira took her first steps during a family dinner get together so we were able to all witness and video tape it!

Decemeber 2013: Jocelynn Noelle turned 8!!!! Man the time has flown by! Where is my baby?!?!

As a SAHM, I decided to start some crafts. My first was a homemade, double sided tree skirt. I was able to finish the first side this year and will finish the second side next year. I think it came out fairly nice!

John decided that the anti inflammatory drugs were not working, so he decided to try a cortizone shot to get through the holidays! It worked grate but only lasted about 6-8 weeks.

Hanging in there...

This week has been interesting.

I was offered more hours at work.....now I can work 28 hours a week (up from 22) and I am hoping that will increase more as the year progresses and CVHS moves in a wonderful direction!!

John and I joined the Gym on Monday. We are planning on going 3x a week and working out for an 1 hour each time.....like I said this is to start, we will increase that as our weight goes down. John is meeting with the personal trainer at the gym to go over his goals and set up a workout routine that will work for him!

I have my eye Dr. appointment on Friday....I can't wait. I hate not having my glasses, especially at night. I refuse to drive right now at night. The 2 times I have (thankfully Jocelynn was not in the car) I saw double the entire way home.....not doing that anymore! It isn't safe.

Mulan has her annual Vet check-up on Tuesday (4/12) I am curious to see what she weighs! This has been an issue in the past (she has always been underweight) I am hoping that this is no longer an issue!

For anyone who in interested, I have found a wonderful online family calender (www.cozi.com)They also have an app for the android and iPhones. I have just started using this to keep track of appointment and such and I LOVE IT! I have even been able to implement the calender at work and it is wonderful!

Crazy end of January!

January was crazy!!! Between the snow, sickness, Dr.'s appointments, school craziness and just plain old life....I need a quite month....lol

We have soooooooo much snow it has got to be a dream. Just in the last 36 hours, it has snowed enough to cover my legs up to my knees...... Plus they are predicting 2 more storms in the next week. I guess I am glad we pushed the snowbanks out behind the garage and practically in the woods (ruined our lawn). We will need the space.

Supposedly the groundhog didn't see his shadow this morning, so Spring is right around the corner......what about the melting time for the snow. I am sure we will be hit with at least 1 storm every week for the next 6 weeks and then it will take ALL summer to melt! The joy of living in Maine!

I am officially in my first 2ww since being on a break. I will try not to obsess over it (yeah right) I have enough craziness going to keep my mind off it! I am just ready to be pregnant and put the last 4 years of TTC behind us!

Jocelynn has been doing GREAT in school. She seems to have her head in the game now that Christmas is over. 

We have had some set backs in the wetting the bed area. We are working hard, but she just seems to be slipping. Not sure what to do, I will talk to her Dr. about it when we go back in a couple of months!

Jocey and I had an appointment with a nutritionist on 1/26. It was very informative and over all a good appointment. She was able to give me some pointers and gave me a list of things to do and foods to stay away from. 

What is great is she has seen me the last 4-5 week watching what I eat and exercising and she want to "help" me get healthy (yes those were her exact words).  We have added more fruits and veggies to our diets, more water and less juice and less processed foods. Not bad to start!

God is Great!

I could not have asked for a better Dr. appointment. I LOVE both of the high risk OB/GYN's! Dr. Burwick and Dr. Economy!

We have the green light to TTC again! They did say they would like me to loose the extra weight I have, I am working on this...to slow for my liking, but the healthy way.

She would like me to be monitored by them and deliver at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Of course I will be considered high risk, but right now they see no reason why I would have any complications with another pregnancy! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!

Nervous.....

I have an appointment with the OB/GYN in Massachusetts on Thursday. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I am hoping to get the green light to get back to TTCing. It has been an interesting few months, I feel very relaxed and I think it was a much needed break, but there have been a few pregnancy announcements. I have dealt with each one and I am super excited about most of them, but it doesn't make the pain go away any faster.

I have a really great feeling that 2011 is our year! Of course, that all depends on the path God has chosen for me.

Merry 2 days before Christmas!

Everything has been crazy and busy....tis the season. John, Jocelynn and I are still fighting some kinda bug since Thanksgiving. It started as the stomach flu, then became a head cold and is now chest congestion.....I am hoping and praying it will be on it's way out of the house next!

Jocelynn has been making great progress with waking up dry! Only 6 accidents all month! I will be pushing for no accidents for the entire month of January (and beyond)!

I have my appointment on the 13th of January @2pm with the OB/GYN at Bringham and Women's Hospital. This is an initial consultation and I am hoping to schedule my exercise/stress test for the same day. I should know either that day or soon after whether we have the green light to TTC again! I have faith that we will receive good news!

Cory and Kristina found out that they are having a BOY!!!! I get a nephew!!!! I am so excited and happy for them! The end of April, beginning of May can NOT come soon enough!!!

Jocelynn is on Christmas break until January 3rd. When she goes back to school she will be going 5 days a week instead of the 4 days. She seems excited and I hope the extra day will help in preparing her for kindergarten!

With Jocelynn's new schedule I will also be working a new schedule. I am looking for full-time work again, I have told my boss, and hopefully it will happen. If it doesn;t I will be working m-f 9am - 2pm. I will not know until sometime in January if the full-time has been approved.

Things are coming together for Christmas and I have 4 1/2 days off to spend with John, Jocelynn and the rest of my family! It will be a much needed break and hopefully I can finally get back on the mend and get rid of this sickness!

Good News and Bad....

Happy Birthday Dad and Robin!!!!

My appointments on Wednesday couldn't have gone better! I don't need surgery and in fact they don't believe the valve is as bad as originally thought by the Dr.'s here. They have ordered a stress test for me to do after the first of the year. It will determine how my body is processing and getting rid of CO2. I will also be meeting with a OB/GYN who specializes in women and particularly pregnant women with heart issues. If everything goes well, I will be given the green light to TTC again!

When (I'm being very positive) I get pregnant they will monitor me closely and I will receive an Echo-cardiogram every trimester. Worse case, if I have issues during pregnancy they will do a catherization, send a balloon up and open up the valve. They don't want to do this unless needed because right now the leakage back through the valve is minimal, and they find after the balloon the leaking gets worse. They also don't want to replace the valve at this point because they don't last forever and I would end up having the valve replace every 10 years.

So as of right now we are waiting to get the green light after the first of the year!

Bad News: Grandpa was doing good, and then he took a turn for the worse. On December 7th at 9:05 pm surrounded by his family, grandpa passed. I will go into further detail in another post. Right now I am in shock and dealing.....

When it rains it pours.....

I'm not sure were to start. Maybe the happy news first....lol

My beautiful niece, Brook turned 5 on the 22nd. I can't believe it has been 5 years already! Happy Birthday Princess!

Jocelynn has a new friend in the house. Her name is Kelly. Kelly is an Elf on the Shelf. Let's just say, this is one of the best things ever thought up! Basically This Elf (Kelly is ours) watches over Jocelynn and any kids that come to our house, when they go to bed at night she goes to the North Pole and updates Santa on her behavior. By the next morning she is back, but in a different location.

Jocelynn gets excited in the morning, she comes down stairs and immediately looks for Kelly. She also has been on her best behavior for the last week (that is how long we have had it) and she even talks to Kelly. Thank you to Amy and Kristina for telling me about this! You can find them at Hallmark.

Jocelynn is also doing very well staying dry at night. In a week she has (on average) 5 dry nights and 2 wet nights. I pretty excited about that, especially considering we have only been doing this since the beginning of this month. I plan "pushing" a little more after the first of the year!

Now......the other news.

Jocelynn, John and I have all been sick. Some kind of stomach virus/flu thing. It is awful! I stared in Monday with severe stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea, which lasted about 36 hours. Even today I am not feeling 100% but better, but I am happy I can finally eat. I went 48 hours with nothing but a little water in my belly.
Jocelynn ended up sick early Thanksgiving morning from 12:30 am until about 6am she was up vomiting every 15 minutes. I thought I was going to have take her to the emergency room, I didn't want her to get dehydrated. At one point I was having her drink juice and ginger ale after she vomited just so that maybe she would absorb some of it and so she would have something in her belly to vomit. The dry heaves were insane. She finally fell asleep about 6:30 and slept until 10:30 and seemed fine. She ate thanksgiving dinner with no issues.
John started last night, vomiting. He feels better today and has been able to eat something but I feel it will be at least another 24 hours before he is truly feeling better.

My Grandfather is also in the hospital. Wednesday he had emergency surgery to remove his Colan, He is "gravely ill" as the Dr. puts it. It will be a long road and as of this morning he was not doing as good as the Dr.'s hoped he would. Please just pray for him.

Also, my crazy brother goes and breaks his collar bone......Thanksgiving day, playing touch football. The ER Dr. told him, "it was the worst break she has ever seen." Go big or go home, right Cory....lol
He will be having surgery to fix this. Praying for a speedy recovery for him!

There is a lot of praying going on in our house. God is listening and will help us through all of this!

Spending the Day in Mass......

John and I will be spending the day in Mass. on the 8th, not for fun or to shop but to go to the Dr.'s!

John has an appointment with his specialist @ 10am and I have 3 appointments (2:45 for an EKG, 3:00 for another Electrocardiogram and 4:00 is the appointment with the specialist!) that afternoon. Of course mine and his appointments are at different locations (30 minutes apart)

I can't believe I got an appointment before the end of the year! I am not going to see Dr. Langzberg. Instead I will see his associate Dr. Michelle Gurvitz. I can't find much information about her, but that may be good or bad. I guess we will see! I am pumped about seeing a woman. I find women Dr. to be a little more understanding and caring.

I do feel funny since my appointment will be at Children's Hospital Boston! Maybe that means I can have stuffed animals and be visited by a clown....lol

So Wednesday 12/8/2010 I hope to walk away from the Dr. appointment with a treatment plan!

Jocelynn is on a roll!!!!!

I am so proud of her! This morning was her 5th morning waking up dry!!!!!! Something seems to have clicked with her and every morning she get so excited when she realizes she didn't pee the bed.

Jocelynn has even go so far as to stop herself...Monday morning she woke up all upset... crying "mommy I'm sorry I peed the bed". I told her it was ok and that I wasn't mad because honestly I expected a few accidents. So I went to change her sheets and realized that she hadn't wet the bed! I checked her panties and sure enough they were wet, but it woke her up, she stopped peeing before it wet the sheets and went to use the potty! That accomplishment in it's self is amazing to me! I am praying and hoping that this is something that she will continue with and not just a fluke!

I do wake her up once a night, between 11 and midnight. I don't typically go to bed until then so it works out well for us. If Jocelynn continues to stay dry, John and I decided to stop waking her up and see what happens. Since beginning this 3 or 4 weeks ago, it has been easier and easier to wake her up at night. I guess only time will tell.


I received a call from Dr H's office (Cardiologist) this morning. They were able to get a hold of Dr. L's office (Dr. in Mass.). My records are being sent to Mass for review and Dr. L's office will be calling me with appointment information after looking at my records. I am hoping that things will progress quickly. It is in God's hands and I trust in whatever plan He has for me!

Headed to Mass....

Dr. Landzberg is the Dr. I will be seeing at Bringham and Women's Hospital. I don't have an appointment yet, My cardiologist office will be making an appointment and calling with the date and time.....so more waiting! I am hoping after I see Dr. Landzberg I will have a treatment course. I just want to fix this issue and move on with my life! I am hoping to get into to see this new Dr. before the end of the year, but if he is as good as my cardiologist claims he is I bet it will be the first of the year.

Apparently Dr. Landzberg is the best in the business. My cardiologist said this is considered congenital heart disease! Also I am a unique case....not sure if that is good or bad....

So TTC is on hold until further notice. I need to concentrate on getting healthy first!


In happier news, Jocelynn received her first report card today, all Satisfactory!!! She is doing very well with blending letters (ie: ta, te, lo, lu, li) she needs to work on recognizing letters and writing them on paper. She tends to write gigantic letters....lol I am so proud of my little girl! She is growing so fast!

Busy Day Tomorrow...

First I get to hear the heart beat of my niece or nephew (due May 8, 2011). I am very excited and thankful that Kristina is so wonderful and including me in these visits! I couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law!

Second I have my Cardiologist Appointment @11 AM. The Dr. will have the results of the TEE I had done last Thursday and I am hoping the Dr. will have a course of treatment ready to discuss. I do know that the TEE confirmed the severity of the Valve problem, and I am prepared for the course of treatment I believe the Dr. will suggest, doesn't make it any less scary in fact it makes it more real coming from him.... I have fantastic support and know that with God, my family and friends I will get through this!

Finally tomorrow evening is something fun! I am 'working' but it is a Black Tie Gala to benefit the animals at Cocheco Valley Humane Society! I have a fantastic outfit to wear and I am looking forward to a wonderful meal, fun times with some of my favorite co-workers and maybe even a little dancing!

We are also working with Jocelynn about not peeing to bed. She has been doing pretty well,except for this week. She is fighting of a pretty bad cold (runny/stuffy nose and cough). Hopefully when she is feeling better I can post about happy (dry) news....lol She is averaging about 2 or 3 night a week now, not too bad for working on it for only 3 weeks!

Appointment

The Dr. called today. I will be going Thursday (10/28) to have the TransEsophageal Echocardiogram.
I have to be at the hospital at 6:45 am. I can't eat before and for 2 hours after, I won't be able to eat hot food for 24 hours after. I am nervous, not looking forward to this. I will be semi sedated, but still awake enough to swallow the probe......*gag* As long as this gives them a better picture of what is going on it is worth it!

On to happier news! I'm going to be an Aunt again! My brother and sister in law (Cory and Kristina) are going to be welcoming another bundle of Joy next spring. Her due date in May 8th, hopefully this one can stay in the oven longer than Brooke did! I am beyond excited and can't wait to meet him or her!

The Dr. said......

Pulmonary Stenosis... I have to have a few more test run, and have another appointment in 2 weeks with the same Cardiologist! (11/5 @ 11:00 am) Who I really like. He has a great bedside manner and I feel like he sees me as another human being and not a patient number.

Next week he is sending me for a TransEsophageal Echocardiogram, He is not 100% positive that he will get a good picture of the valve this way, but he wants to try the least invasive first. If this doesn't work I will be having a Cardiac Catheterization.

So, it is still a waiting game. I can resume my normal activity (particularly the exercise program I started at the first of the month.) The Dr. did say that we should put trying for another child on hold until we find out more about this heart issue.....

The Dr. is also sending my to have a sleep study. He thinks I have sleep apnea,  I'm overweight, of course I do. Isn't that what all the Dr. think when someone is overweight....

Anxious...

Cardiologist appointment in the morning....I'll admit I am anxious, but I have done a lot of praying (as well as my family and friends...thank you).

Jocelynn had her first field trip today! She had a blast, I was nervous but I survived! She went to Coppal House Farm went on a hay ride with Draft Horses and got a pumpkin!

Monday we took John to the eye Dr. He found a piece of rusted metal embedded in the colored part of the iris.  Thankfully there has been no side effects and his eyesight is still pretty perfect. Just antibiotic drops 4 times a day this week. I am very thankful that this was not more serious!

The Countdown begins....

Received a call from my PCP this morning, Cardiologist appointment is scheduled for Friday 10/22 @ 8:10am. Talk about not wasting any time.

Another disappointment...

So....this was not our month! I'm ok.....I really put a lot into this month and I an upset and disappointed that I am still a failure as a woman, but I will be okay. God has a plan for me, and I trust in Him!

On another note, John and I are on a break from trying to conceive. Not our choice, it is the Dr. and hopefully next cycle we can get back on track. Please pray we get to see the specialist sooner then later. (I will go into more detail in another post)

Interesting......

I mean the last 2 weeks that is!

Tuesday (9/21/10) my Dad had Surgery on his R knee. Cory (my brother) went to the hospital with him, so I was at home with 2-five year olds. It was fun. I decided to let them "style" (a term I use loosely)my hair. They had a blast and enjoyed the time with them.....

Then we had manicures and John took us 3 girls out to lunch! It was a very fun day! Dad's surgery went well. He is up and moving know and in hardly any pain!

Tuesday (9/22/2010) John and I took Jocey to the Rochester Fair. Overall I was unimpressed. They didn't have as many rides, vendors or animals. Jocelynn had a blast and wanted to ride everything (thankfully she isn't big enough...yet) including the zipper

Jocey also started a new school schedule this week....she will be going Mon., Tues., Wed., and Fri. from now on. Tuesdays are music class, she was missing them. Her teacher asked if there was anyway she could add Tuesdays. So after talking to John and Jocey about it, we decided it was a good thing!

Her first Tuesday (9/28/10) at school happen to also be picture day! I can't wait to see the proofs (which we should have back in a week). I hope there is at least one good one!!!!(they took 3 or 4 poses)

I had to make an appointment with my PCP, I started having some L side pain Thursday at work, and it seemed to get worse throughout the day. Thursday night (9/30/10) was awful. I hardly slept and I was in pain. So I went to my appointment to find out I have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), so I am on an antibiotic and hope to feel better tonight and get some sleep.

On the TTC front.....CD 21! What does that mean???? MORE bloodwork! Seems to be all I do! I am praying that this is our month! I have way too many woman (Some who I am close too) who are pregnant around me.....I wanna play too!!!!! The Dr. gave me antibiotics that are safe if I am pregnant. We should know yes or no in about 7-10 days!!!
