What A Weekend!

It was Beautiful!!!! Lots of family time and just enjoying the beautiful outdoors!

Saturday: John attempted to take Jocelynn to dance class...she still didn't want anything to do with it. One more week, it's already paid for, and I will be letting the teacher know that I am pulling her and we will try again next year.
The rest of the day was spent working around the house!

Sunday: Church was exactly what I needed. Pastor Roy knows how to speak to my heart and say exactly what I need to hear.
After church we went to my SIL house. We had a BBQ, and played red neck golf....lol. It was nice to spend the afternoon with family and laugh!

Monday: Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all the men and women who have served and are serving our country!
We spent the entire day at Fort Foster in Kittery Maine! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! It was exactly the kind of day you want everyday! It felt like vacation! I am sunburn, but it is well worth it! I am open to spending an entire day each weekend there, as long as the weather is good!

Working

After my first week back at work I am exhausted! It was nice to be back at work. Thankful this comes at just the right time. I am able to work up to 40 hours a week until the end of June and then I will start on my regular schedule of Monday and Friday. Looks like we will be getting Jocelynn in to preschool soon, at least on the Mondays and Fridays I will be working. I am just hoping I can find one that isn't too expensive.

This week has been gorgeous weather wise and John and Jocelynn have had some fun together outside. This has been great for them and they have been spending some much needed one on one time (with Wyatt too...lol)

Grampa Young is officially all moved in. It will be a big period of adjustment but one we have no choice on making! I can't believe how unappreciated some of his children were after he spent most of him life taking care of them. SELFISH! I think it is good that he is back living here, I am home most of the week. I just hope the rest of the family doesn't forget about him!

I have started a full exercise and diet routine. I have surprised myself with the motivation I have had! If you wanna follow my struggle with weight loss and help keep me motivated, check out my other BLOG!!

Have A Great Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!!!

Praise God!

God really does work miracles in our lives! I was offered a part-time position at CVHS! It will be two days a week, Monday and Friday and it is just what I needed right now! I LOVE staying home with Jocelynn, but have missed the adult interaction and feeling like I am contributing to the income for the family. The ladies there are great and in the last year I have missed them and I am so happy they are willing to welcome me back with open arms!

The next few weeks I am going to try and pick up as many hours as I can (at least until John goes back to work)!

The other reason this is so exciting, it allows us to take our trip down south in 3 weeks. When John was laid off, that trip was put on hold for obvious reasons! Now it is back on! I can't wait to have a few days with great friends, see my niece and meet my new nephew!

All I have to say is praise the Lord! You are truly amazing and I am blessed!

Let Down

So this month was another disappointing month! BFN.....I don't know why I bother getting my hopes up. We are at a cross roads in our TTC journey.....we have decided that we can't go to the Dr. and do meds, but we are not going to prevent! Call me irresponsible but I can't see the point of using birth control when we have such a hard time getting pregnant.....if by some miracle we do get pregnant we will make do! It will kill me to put it all completely on hold. I guess only time will tell!

One thing this month has shown me is the WONDERFUL friends and family I have supporting us through this journey! I love you all and because of you I can continue on every day!

Happenings.........

Friday I worked a full day! It was nice and I forgot how much I miss the ladies I used to work with! I have 3 more days to enjoy...lol

Yesterday we went to the beach! It was overcast and cold, but we had fun flying the kite!!!!

Tomorrow is my BETA! I am nervous and excited! I really hope it is good news....I don't want to have to take a break! But we will make it through whatever the results are!

I have also learned in the last couple of days that there are some Psychotic people in this world! People who believe that they are mistreated and wronged and will attack and try and bring down innocent people who are trying to live their lives and better the lives of children who deserve a happy home! I love you girl! and please don't let what the psycho woman says mean anything to you! She needs some serious help!

Some Good News

My previous employer informed me yesterday that my replacement is on vacation until Wednesday, and if I wanted to come in to work I could! (She is new and hasn't earned any vacation time, so she is taking the days unpaid.)

I jumped at the chance! Anything to make a few extra dollars and visit with the ladies I adore at work!!!!!

I will be working all day Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!

The Lord works his wonders in my life everyday!

Tested........

That is exactly what I feel like....tested! I just want to pull my hair out and climb in bed and stay there for days!

Monday (5/11) Started off like every other Monday, John got up to go to work and I lounged in bed. He had a meeting at the office at 7am. At 7:20 I receive a text from John, He has been laid off from him job......WHAT!?!?!? We don't know how long he will be out of work. His company is waiting on a project that is having permit and material issues. John is to call the office every Friday after noon and find out what the status on the project is.....let's pray this is a short lay off!

TTC News: My P4 level this cycle is 31.8! That is a great number and go for my BETA on Monday 5/18......it is bitter sweet. I still pray that we are pregnant this cycle because if we are not we are putting TTC on hold until John is back at work and we have health insurance again........If we are pregnant we will make do....we will find a way because nothing would make us happier then to know that we will be adding to our family!

I guess the next few days/week will be a real test! Pray for us!

RIP Kayleigh Anne Freeman, June 23, 2008 - May 11, 2009
She was truly a blessing from God and faced more in her short 11 months then any of us will face in our entire lives! God Bless you Kayleigh! My heart goes out to the Free mans....

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Today was a great day!

Breakfast with family (My Father and Mother, Cory, Kristina, Brooke, Jeremy, John and Jocelynn)

We had a great church service! The pastor seems to hit point that I need to be reminded me of that gets me through the next week!

BBQ with family (all of the above plus Robin, Tony and T.J.) It was great day to spend with family and I couldn't imagine spending it any other way!

Happy Mother's Day to all the special woman in my life (current, mommy-to-be and future!) You all are very special!

National Prayer Day!

There is a blog I have been following.....this couple is amazing!!!!! She also writes about National Prayer Day and I couldn't say it any better myself.....take a look here Pifer's Journey.

Please pray for your blessing and for others. God is great and filling His in box would be a wonderful blessing to Him.

If I could also ask that you pray for President Obama......he needs to open his heart and realize that the path he is going down is dangerous! You may not like him, but he is our President and I am fearful for were this country is heading by the choices he is making!

Finally....good news!

Yesterday was our IUI. It went really well! The Dr. said John's "sample" was the best she has seen during our IUI's! Maybe #5 will be the lucky one! Although I like to look at it as #1 because it is the first of 2009 and the first after a 6 month break. So know the 2ww begins........(12 days and counting)

SO I go Monday 5/11 to check my P4 levels and Monday 5/18 for a BETA!!! Please let this be it!!!!!

Making progress

Jocelynn had her second dance class on Saturday (5/2). We are making progress. This time she actually stood inside the room and watched (I stayed outside, but were she could see me) and at one point she went and stood in the line with the other girls. She didn't dance, just stood there and watched, but progress is progress! I believe she will be loving it by the end of the month!!!!!!

Onto TTC news, we are a go for our IUI cycle! I went this morning for an u/s, 3 great follies measuring 17.93, 20.73 & 22.03! So we have the IUI scheduled for tomorrow (5/5) at 4pm! This has been a very weird cycle.....I like weird cycles....the cycle we got pregnant with Jocelynn was a weird cycle too....so we are hoping and praying!

SO I guess after tomorrow I am officially in the 2ww.......the longest 2 weeks of my life!

F*** Wal-mart!

F*** Wal-mart! I am done....not that it will make a difference to them, but I will feel better!

John purchased a new MP3 player yesterday morning. It was my mother's day present. He gave it to me early.....I love this man! Well, I went to open it and it was already open....not a big deal usually! I charge it and go to turn it on and it freezes at the main screen......WTH, so I package it back up so we can return it.

So we get to wal-mart, hand the items over to return (there was also an accessory pack that didn't fit the MP3 player, even though it was supposed too, and that as well had been opened when I received it) They say to us, the serial number on the player is different then the one on the package. I knew right there it would mean trouble!

The said that they could exchange the MP3 player for the same one, but policy states that they couldn't refund our money......WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

Normally, the exchange would have been fine, but it would also look like I was guilty of something.....which we weren't.

Also, I want to purchase my MP3 player somewhere else. So we are still waiting on what is going to happen. They are going to review the security tape (not like that will prove anything.)

What really had my blood boiling, was the B*tch that waited on us (she is THE meanest person at walmart, guess that is why she does returns) kept saying how they don't put items back on the shelf after they have been open, especially electronics.....really.....whay a LIE! The accessory pack was opened before, and I have purchased other opened packages...usually at a discounted rate.....so don't give me that bull!

Then she had the nerve to say, "well, then you shouldn't have purchased it." WHAT?!?!?!?! We didn't know the package was open until John was home. Why? because the players are locked up, so the associate unlocked the cabinet, took the item to the register, and then placed it in a bag when John purchased it.......So John never handled the item. Could he have asked too....or course, but how many of us actually do????

So needless to say we are pissed....for lack of a better word....and we are not doing business with wal-mart any longer....F*** Wal-mart!!!!

I will also be contacting wal-mart and let them know what happened.....I will not be made to feel guilty and dirty when I am an honest person!!!!!
